An Andrew Johnson dollar coin dated 1865-1869 is part of the Presidential Dollar series, but it was not minted during that period . The dates 1865-1869 represent the years Andrew Johnson served as president. This coin was actually minted in 2011 as part of the Presidential dollar series. The minting date and mint mark are located on the coin’s edge.

  • Circulated Condition: A circulated Andrew Johnson dollar coin (2011) is generally worth its face value of $1.
  • Uncirculated or Proof Condition: Coins in uncirculated or proof condition may be worth more than face value, ranging from around $2 to $10 or more, depending on factors such as grade and demand.
  • Error Coins: Coins with minting errors could be worth significantly more, potentially reaching into the hundreds of dollars, but such errors are rare.

In summary, an Andrew Johnson dollar coin with the dates 1865-1869 is a modern coin minted in 2011. While circulated versions are typically worth face value, uncirculated, proof, or error versions can command higher prices from collectors.

The Andrew Jackson was minted in 2008 and does have the Statue of Liberty on the back. The date should read 1829 – 1837. As far as value, the standard circulated coin is currently only worth face value.
