PNC Bank does accept coins for deposit or exchange at its full-service branch locations.

PNC requires coins to be rolled for deposits or exchanges of $10 or more. You can request coin wrappers at any PNC branch if needed.

It’s important to note that while PNC accepts rolled coins, they no longer have coin-counting machines in their branches.

If you prefer to avoid rolling your coins, you could consider using a Coinstar machine. These kiosks, located in various retail stores, can count your coins and offer different redemption options, though some come with fees. Some other banks, particularly credit unions and smaller community banks, may still have coin-counting machines available, but their services and fees might differ, and they may primarily cater to their customers.

Your local bank branch is a good place to exchange coins. The branch will typically give you coin wrappers for free. Credit unions or community banks are more likely to have free coin-counting machines for members. Coinstar machines are in many supermarkets, and Publix has its own machines.

Certain credit unions and community banks still have coin-counting machines. The majority of large banks, such as Bank of America, Chase and Capital One, do not have coin-counting machines for their customers anymore, though you can still receive coin wrappers.
