When discussing coins and good luck, heads is generally considered the lucky side , especially when found on the ground.

Many believe that finding a heads-up coin, particularly a penny, is a sign of good fortune and will bring luck for the rest of the day. This belief might stem from ancient associations of the “heads” side with deities or positive symbols. In some traditions, finding a tails-up coin is considered unlucky, and some will even flip it over for the next person to find it heads-up.

It’s important to remember that these are superstitions and beliefs , and not everyone adheres to them. Some consider any coin found to be lucky regardless of the side, while others may not associate luck with coins at all.

Beyond just the heads or tails, other factors can make coins considered lucky:

  • Birth Year Coins: Carrying a coin from your birth year is believed to bring good luck.
  • Coins with Holes: In some cultures, coins with holes are associated with good fortune and warding off evil spirits.
  • Lucky Symbols: Coins featuring symbols like four-leaf clovers, horseshoes, or angels are believed to bring good luck.
  • Certain Countries’ Coins: Specific coins from countries like Ireland (pre-Euro) or those with particular symbolic representations like Japanese 5-yen coins, are sometimes seen as inherently lucky.

I can help with that. Entrance (Front Door): Always place coins on the inner side of the door.
Wealth Corner: Identify the southeast corner of your home or office and place coins there.
Under Carpets: To discreetly attract positive energy in rooms.
Wallet or Purse: To keep wealth flowing continuously.

Another popular lucky coin is the ” lucky penny.” It is believed that finding a penny on the ground brings good luck, and many people carry a penny in their pocket for good luck.
