Great question! A coin show is also an event that allows the public to sell coins to dealers. A show offers a coin collector the opportunity to meet multiple dealers and see a variety of coins, books, paper money and tokens.

Coin shows are really fun and a great way to learn, meet more people, and grow as a collector. I compiled a quick top 10 list of things that you can do at a coin show and hopefully it will convince you to go! Whether it is based off of monetary profit as a semi-dealer experience or it’s just meeting new people and enjo.

Article 1, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution states, “ No state shall coin money, emit bills of credit, or make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts.” Under the new law, the comptroller’s office will contract with a debit card provider to facilitate transactions.
