There are several upcoming coin shows and collectibles events in Alabama that include coins and currency:
- The Flip Dothan AL: A collectibles trade show featuring over 50 vendors, including those specializing in coins and currency. It will be held at the Dothan City Civic Center on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm (or later). Admission is $7, and children 13 and under are free.

- The Flip Trade Show Millbrook (North Montgomery): Another “Flip” collectibles trade show, this event will be at The Fields at 17 Springs on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm (or later). It will have 175+ tables with collectibles including currency and coins. Admission is $6, with free entry for children 13 and under, and a $2 discount for military and first responders.
- Montgomery Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show: While focusing on gems and minerals, this event at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery from December 5-7, 2025, might also include vendors with coins and related items.
- Huntsville Gem & Mineral Society Jewelry, Gem & Mineral Show: Similar to the Montgomery show, this event in Huntsville from October 10-12, 2025, might have vendors with coins as well.

Etiquette is important
Don’t interrupt a dealer and customer who are talking or in the middle of a transaction. Don’t ask to see the coins in question or ask about their prices. Do return to the dealer’s table when he or she has concluded the transaction. Don’t block customers’ access to a dealer’s table.
